Self Amalgamating

Self amalgamating tapes are a particular type of double sided that are non adhesive but when the release liner is removed and a force applied they will self-fuse. Consequently they only work where wrapped around an object. Generally used for electrical insulation and protection of electrical cables to prevent damage through entrapment. Can be used as a temporary hose repair and for sealing and binding applications including grafting in horticulture.
